Thyroid Disorders treatment
Thyroid disorders affect metabolism throughout the body. An underactive thyroid causes fatigue, weight gain and hair loss; an overactive one causes weight loss, palpitations and anxiety.

Understanding thyroid disorders
What it is, and what we look at
Hypothyroidism, the more common form, occurs when the thyroid produces too little hormone — usually because of Hashimoto's autoimmune thyroiditis. Its symptoms are non-specific and easily attributed to something else: tiredness, weight gain, feeling cold, dry skin, hair fall, constipation and low mood. Hyperthyroidism produces the opposite pattern.
Thyroid disease is diagnosed and monitored by blood tests. Homeopathic care addresses associated symptoms as part of a coordinated plan that includes regular TSH monitoring and prescribed thyroid hormone replacement where indicated. Thyroid function should always be checked in unexplained fatigue, hair fall, menstrual irregularity or infertility.

How we work
Our approach at the clinic
Individualised prescribing
Homeopathy selects a remedy for the person, not only the diagnosis. Two patients with the same condition often receive different remedies.
Detailed case taking
Your first visit covers medical history, family history, current medication, diet, sleep and stress — all of it informs the prescription.
Works alongside your doctor
We never ask you to stop prescribed medication on your own. Any change is made gradually and in consultation with your treating physician.

Common questions
Asked before the first visit
Homeopathic care can be given alongside thyroxine, with TSH monitored as usual. Continue thyroxine as prescribed because it replaces a hormone the body is not making; any dose change belongs with the prescribing doctor, especially during pregnancy.

Talk to a doctor about your case
Bring your reports and current prescriptions. The first consultation is a full case assessment, and you will be told plainly if another specialist is the better route.
