Hepatitis treatment
Hepatitis is inflammation of the liver. The cause matters enormously: viral hepatitis A and E usually resolve, while B and C can become chronic and need antiviral treatment.

Understanding hepatitis
What it is, and what we look at
Hepatitis A and E spread through contaminated food and water and are usually short-lived, resolving without lasting damage. Hepatitis B and C spread through blood and body fluids and can become chronic, quietly damaging the liver over decades and leading to cirrhosis or liver cancer if untreated. Hepatitis can also result from alcohol, medications and autoimmune disease.
Identifying the type of hepatitis guides the entire plan. Homeopathic care supports general wellbeing within hepatology follow-up, including antiviral treatment for chronic hepatitis B or C when prescribed. Hepatitis C is now curable in most people with a course of direct-acting antivirals.

How we work
Our approach at the clinic
Individualised prescribing
Homeopathy selects a remedy for the person, not only the diagnosis. Two patients with the same condition often receive different remedies.
Detailed case taking
Your first visit covers medical history, family history, current medication, diet, sleep and stress — all of it informs the prescription.
Works alongside your doctor
We never ask you to stop prescribed medication on your own. Any change is made gradually and in consultation with your treating physician.

Common questions

Supportive homeopathic care can be coordinated with hepatology follow-up and prescribed antiviral treatment. Chronic hepatitis B is controlled with antivirals, while hepatitis C is curable in most people with a short course of modern direct-acting antivirals.
