Understanding depression
What it is, and what we look at
Depression is not weakness or a temporary low mood. It involves changes in sleep, appetite, concentration and energy, alongside a persistent loss of interest in things that were previously enjoyable. It is common, treatable, and frequently goes unaddressed for months because the physical symptoms are treated in isolation.
Homeopathic care here is coordinated with the level of mental-health support each person needs. Mild presentations may be managed with supportive care, while moderate or severe depression is referred for psychiatric assessment and psychotherapy. Patients already under psychiatric care can continue homeopathic treatment alongside it, with immediate referral if any risk is identified.

How we work
Our approach at the clinic
Individualised prescribing
Homeopathy selects a remedy for the person, not only the diagnosis. Two patients with the same condition often receive different remedies.
Detailed case taking
Your first visit covers medical history, family history, current medication, diet, sleep and stress — all of it informs the prescription.
Works alongside your doctor
We never ask you to stop prescribed medication on your own. Any change is made gradually and in consultation with your treating physician.

Common questions
Asked before the first visit
Continue your antidepressant exactly as prescribed because stopping abruptly can cause withdrawal symptoms and relapse. Homeopathic care can be added alongside it, while any medication change is managed by the psychiatrist who prescribed it.
