High Blood Pressure treatment
Hypertension is persistently raised blood pressure. It rarely causes symptoms, which is why it is often found only during a routine check — or after it has caused damage.

Understanding high blood pressure
What it is, and what we look at
Blood pressure is considered raised when readings are consistently at or above 140/90 mmHg on repeated measurement. Most people have no symptoms whatsoever, and the popular belief that high blood pressure causes headaches or neck pain is unreliable — the majority of people with hypertension feel entirely well. Untreated, it damages the heart, brain, kidneys and eyes over years.
Homeopathic care here is supportive and works alongside prescribed antihypertensive treatment. What contributes most is the modifiable side: salt reduction, weight, regular activity, alcohol, sleep and stress. Home monitoring with a validated upper-arm device gives a far more useful picture than occasional clinic readings.
Symptoms
You may recognise these
Causes & triggers
What tends to be behind it
- High dietary salt intake
- Excess weight and physical inactivity
- Family history and increasing age
- Alcohol, smoking and chronic stress
- Kidney disease, thyroid disorders and sleep apnoea as secondary causes
When to see a doctor promptly
Homeopathic treatment is not the right first step for these. Seek medical assessment if:
- Blood pressure is very high with chest pain, breathlessness or severe headache — seek emergency care
- There is sudden weakness, slurred speech or vision loss — call for emergency help
- Readings remain high despite treatment, or you have side effects from medication
How we work
Our approach at the clinic
Individualised prescribing
Homeopathy selects a remedy for the person, not only the diagnosis. Two patients with the same condition often receive different remedies.
Detailed case taking
Your first visit covers medical history, family history, current medication, diet, sleep and stress — all of it informs the prescription.
Works alongside your doctor
We never ask you to stop prescribed medication on your own. Any change is made gradually and in consultation with your treating physician.

Common questions
Asked before the first visit
Normal readings usually mean the medication is working, not that it is no longer needed. Stopping without supervision commonly leads to a rebound rise. Any reduction is decided by your physician using your home readings over time.

Talk to a doctor about your case
Bring your reports and current prescriptions. The first consultation is a full case assessment, and you will be told plainly if another specialist is the better route.
