Heart Disease treatment

Coronary artery disease develops when the arteries supplying the heart narrow, reducing blood flow. It is the leading cause of death in India, and it presents earlier here than in most populations.

Understanding heart disease

What it is, and what we look at

Fatty deposits build up in the coronary arteries over years, narrowing them and reducing blood supply to the heart muscle. This can cause chest pain on exertion (angina), and if a plaque ruptures and blocks an artery, a heart attack. South Asians develop coronary disease around a decade earlier on average than Western populations, and often at lower body weight, which is worth knowing.

This is a condition where conventional cardiology care is not optional. Statins, blood pressure control, antiplatelet therapy, stents and bypass surgery all have substantial evidence and save lives. Homeopathic care here is strictly supportive — for general wellbeing, sleep and anxiety alongside cardiac treatment — and never a reason to delay or stop it.

Symptoms

You may recognise these

Chest tightness, pressure or heaviness on exertion
Pain spreading to the left arm, jaw, neck or back
Breathlessness on activity, or when lying flat
Palpitations or irregular heartbeat
Unusual fatigue on ordinary exertion
Swelling of the ankles and feet

Causes & triggers

What tends to be behind it

  • High cholesterol and atherosclerosis
  • High blood pressure and diabetes
  • Smoking and tobacco use in any form
  • Family history of early heart disease, and South Asian ethnicity
  • Obesity, physical inactivity and chronic stress

When to see a doctor promptly

Homeopathic treatment is not the right first step for these. Seek medical assessment if:

  • Chest pain lasting more than a few minutes, with sweating, nausea or breathlessness — call emergency services immediately, do not drive yourself
  • Chest discomfort at rest, or worsening with less and less activity
  • Fainting, severe breathlessness, or a very fast irregular pulse

How we work

Our approach at the clinic

Individualised prescribing

Homeopathy selects a remedy for the person, not only the diagnosis. Two patients with the same condition often receive different remedies.

Detailed case taking

Your first visit covers medical history, family history, current medication, diet, sleep and stress — all of it informs the prescription.

Works alongside your doctor

We never ask you to stop prescribed medication on your own. Any change is made gradually and in consultation with your treating physician.

Common questions

Asked before the first visit

No. Nothing in homeopathy clears an arterial blockage, and chest pain should never be managed with complementary treatment while cardiology assessment waits. Angina and heart attack are time-critical. Supportive care is appropriate only alongside a cardiologist's treatment plan.

Talk to a doctor about your case

Bring your reports and current prescriptions. The first consultation is a full case assessment, and you will be told plainly if another specialist is the better route.
